Thought I’d share some fun stuff from my firing in May.
I mixed a new glaze – Shige’s Black. It’s a beautiful satiny look to it and I blew the exposure out on the pic of this vase to try and show its finish. The green tint is from fluorescent work lights in my basement.
It looks amazing on porcelain and I sprayed a little Dinnerset white on the lip to bleed down to the altered collar.

- Mowhawk Urn: Recycled clay body. 7.5″w x 11.25″HButter With Iron Glaze. This is a mix of paper clay, so it’s very light.
